Hadley Has Raised $460,000 Total With Over $320,000 Cash-On-Hand
Torrance, CA – State Assembly candidate David Hadley (R – 66th District) reported $320,264 “cash-on-hand” in his recent May 17, 2014 campaign financial statement.
Since entering the race, Hadley has raised $459,679 and over 90% of this total represents contributions from 435 “individual” donors – not groups or political action committees. In fact, the majority of his funds have come from people living within the 66th Assembly District.
Financial reports filed for 2013 and 2014 by Hadley's opponent, Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi, show more than 93% of his funding is from outside the district while a paltry 10% of his total contributions come from individuals.
“The dynamics of this race have not changed from previous filings,” said Hadley. “90% of my financial support is from individual donors while 90% of my opponent’s money comes from special interests that have business before the state legislature. The people of the South Bay should choose their elected representatives and not leave it to Sacramento special interests.”
